USS Nitze (DDG 94) Strikes Coastal Radar Sites in Yemen | Video

In this U.S. Navy video, the guided missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) launches a strike against three coastal radar sites in Houthi-controlled territory on Yemen’s Red Sea coast. Nitze struck the sites due to attacks on vessels in the Bab-el Mandeb Strait, including against the U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) earlier in the week. Mason deployed countermeasures and was unharmed in the attack by what have been reported as Chinese-made C-802 anti-ship missiles. The radar sites were used to attack ships operating in international waters, among other hostile acts, continuing and imminent threat of force, and multiple threats to vessels in the strait, threatening freedom of navigation.
