Clarence A. Robinson, Jr., is the author of Battleground High, a book in progress on missile defense. He is Editor-in-Chief (Emeritus) and Editor at Large, SIGNAL magazine, and a former Senior Editor at Aviation Week & Space Technology.

Winner of more than a dozen national journalism awards, including the Overseas Press Club Award in 1983 for coverage from Baghdad of the war between Iran and Iraq, he was twice named by Washingtonian magazine as among the top 50 journalists covering news in the nation’s capital. His book contributions include NATO’s Maritime Strategy (Pergaman-Brassey); SDI in the Near Term; Strategy, Technology and the ABM Treaty (American Renaissance); Intelligence Policy & National Security (Archon); SALT: Substance or Shadow? (McGraw Hill, Aviation Week Book Club).
