One of the fighters will be transferred to a unit on the mainland. The other will go to the 186th Fighter Squadron, Montana Air National Guard, which is continuing to conduct the Air Sovereignty Alert mission in Hawaii at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. I had an F-15B flight with the Hawaii Guardsmen in the 1990s.
